SWITCHING INTO THE INVESTOR CATEGORY

If you are currently in the UK and would like to switch into the Investor category it is important to note that nationals from non EEA countries may only apply to switch into the Investor category without leaving the UK providing they have existing leave as:
- Work Permit Holder; or
- Highly Skilled Migrant; or
- Person intending to establish themselves or remain in business; or
- Innovator.
Exceptional circumstances will be considered by a case-worker whereby it would be unduly harsh for you to return to your country of residence. Circumstances relating to the job employment or the labour market will not accepted as exceptional circumstances.
An individual who does not fall into the above category will need to make their application from abroad.
