Obtaining a Sponsorship License

Corporate Immigration

The first step in hiring migrant workers to help grow your business.

What is a Sponsorship License?

A Sponsorship License allows you to apply for a Certificate of Sponsorship for migrant workers and is the process implemented by the Home Office to vet UK businesses to make sure they are reputable and have a genuine need for migrant workers to fill a skills gap.

How to obtain a Sponsorship License

The Home Office looks to establish four key things before issuing a Sponsorship License to a company:

  1. That you're a genuine organization operating lawfully in the UK
  2. That the key personnel named on your application are deemed honest, dependable and reliable
  3. You are capable of carrying out your sponsor duties
  4. If applying under the Tier 2 (General) visa, that you can offer genuine employment that meets the appropriate skill level and pay rates

Our team of UK immigration solicitors are experts at helping you meet these requirements.

Sponsorship Licenses are valid for up to 4 years - We charge a one-off fee that covers the life-time of your Sponsorship License.
