Nationality applications must now be made by post

From 16 July 2012 applications for British nationality made by applicants outside the UK must be made by post to the UK on the correct form with the accompanying payment slip. They should no longer be made to the British High Commission or British Consulate overseas.
Despite the applications being made by post, the UK Border Agency will contact applicants via email with any queries and decisions will continue to be communicated to applicants by the nearest British High Commission or British Consulate.
Applications will continue to require original documents notwithstanding that they are to be made by post. Once a decision is made the documents will be returned.
You will not be required to send your original passport if you are from one of the countries listed on the UKBA website.
The address to send the application form to is: UK Border Agency, PO BOX 306, Liverpool L2 0QN, United Kingdom.
The exception will be Hong Kong, where residents should continue to submit their applications at the British High Commission or British Consulate.
