New Visa Application Centre in Atyrau, Kazakhstan

The UKBA has announced that it will be launching a new monthly visa service in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, on 29 June 2012. The new visa application centre will be launched in collaboration with the UKBA’s commercial partner, VFS Global.

There will also be a mobile biometric clinic that will allow applicants in the west of Kazakhstan to enrol their biometric information when applying for a UK visa. However, the mobile biometric clinic represents an optional service that will currently cost USD$256.00, in addition to the application fees already in place.

Applicants will be able to submit their application online and, after paying their visa application fee, they will be able to book an appointment at the biometric clinic at KIS Energy, Kazinter Service, Birlik Village, Atyrau, TNS Building, Republic of Kazakhstan, 060015.

After booking an appointment online, applicants will be provided with a pre-addressed envelope to post their application to the UKBA centre in Almaty. All official documents will be returned by courier to the applicant once a decision has been made on the application. Please see the UKBA’s website for processing times.

Those who do not want to use the new biometric clinic at Atyrau will be able to go to the Almaty visa application centre at no additional cost.
