Another top ranking in The Legal 500 for Gherson
24 September 2012
Gherson has been recommended as a top tier firm in The Legal 500 for the sixth year running. All Gherson's practice areas have been recognised by the world's largest independent legal benchmarking directory and the firm has been given a top ranking for immigration: human rights, appeals and overstay.
The Legal 500, which has been published for over 20 years and is a leading directory of law firms and lawyers across the UK and internationally, released its latest rankings last week. In addition to its top ranking in the personal immigration area, the trusted source of information also sang the praises of Gherson's business immigration and civil liberties and human rights practices.
Gherson is commended as "an 'excellent all-round firm' with particular strength in complex asylum cases, and 'unsurpassed' expertise in the Points Based System". The directory also describes the team as "professional, dedicated and reliable" and singles out a number of individual members of the practice for recognition.
Roger Gherson has once again been cited as a 'leading lawyer', with sources extolling "his 'unbounded energy' and his ability to 'retain strategic oversight of a large and difficult caseload'". Personal immigration specialist Kathryn Bradbury is also mentioned for the second year running for her "amazing attention to detail" and she is joined this year in the directory by business immigration head Lisa Amos.
