Alfred Gherson is a solicitor at Gherson Solicitors.

Alfred has been a core part of the Complex Litigation Team since he joined Gherson LLP in September 2020. He has worked on complex Asylum, Extradition, Sanctions, Human Rights, Immigration and INTERPOL matters. He has assisted a client in obtaining refugee status, managing a complicated Asylum application from start to finish, and helped another client successfully fight against the publishing of an INTERPOL Red Notice. In addition, Alfred was involved in managing close to 10 Judicial Review applications, primarily brought against the Home Office.

Alfred works tirelessly to ensure his clients are kept abreast of every corner of their case and has built strong relationships with Counsels from Human Rights, Sanctions and White-Collar Crime chambers.

Before joining Gherson LLP, Alfred studied at University College London and obtained an MA in Human Rights. Alfred received his Graduate Diploma in Law at City Law School following completion of an undergraduate degree in History at the University of York. He is in the process of completing his Legal Practical Course with the University of Law, which he studies part-time.
