A Certificate of Sponsorship (“CoS”) is a key part of the visa application and sponsorship compliance processes, providing confirmation to the Home Office that an applicant will be employed, and allowing them to check that the role will meet the criteria of the visa route. It contains the details of an individual to be sponsored, including their name, date of birth and passport details, as well as the key details of the job they will be doing.
