The Home Office have released an update advising applicants that they are not currently accepting documents by post, due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The published advice confirms that even if an application has been started or submitted, no documents should be posted as there may be a delay in returning the documents to the applicant.
If original documents were posted to the Home Office before 25 March 2020, the Home Office confirm they will be returned as soon as possible. The return of documents sent to the Home Office after this date is likely to be delayed.
The update further confirms that delays with the processing of these applications will likely continue due to the coronavirus.
