NEWS FLASH: Students - Tier 1 Post Study Work abolished as of 5 April 2011

Further to our article of 21 December 2010 all students who are about to or have completed a degree, Masters or PhD in the UK should be aware that as of 5 April 2011 the UK Border Agency intends to abolish the Tier 1 Post Study Work category of the Points Based System. Anyone considering making an application is advised to do so well in advance of the 5 April 2011 deadline as appointments at the UKBA Public Enquiry Office may fill up and waiting times for postal applications may increase considerably over the coming months.
