Russia expands list of those prohibited from holding dual citizenship
Following President Putin’s proposal in late 2020, Russia has now passed a bill which prohibits state and municipal officials from holding dual citizenship or a permanent residence permit in another country. The idea behind this new bill is to ensure Russian officials cannot swear allegiance to other countries, which is often required when obtain nationality or permanent residence.

Returning your police Registration Certificate after obtaining Indefinite Leave to Remain
If you are required to keep and maintain a Police Registration Certificate as part of your permission to reside in the UK, it is useful to note that on some occasions, the Home Office are requesting Police Registration Certificates to be returned to the local police station once they are no longer required.
