The FA, led by Chairman Greg Dyke, have announced plans to cut the number of non-EU players playing in England. On 6 October 2014, The Home Secretary Theresa May signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Republic of Ireland. Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Rules 2014 came into force on 6 October 2014. Part 17 of the Rules covers extradition proceedings.
